It has now been three days since our mate chose to accept the bond we share, and I couldn’t be happier. However, she has been sulking ever since we disagreed about her having a personal bodyguard.
We anticipated her resistance; it’s in her nature. It pains me to see her unhappy when all I want is to shield her from harm. I hope she soon realizes that what we are doing is not to control her but to keep her safe.
