"Ouch." The word escaped my mouth as a sharp pain coursed through my arm. I had just bumped into someone; it was not just anyone, actually, it was Elias.
"Oh, I didn't see you there." He said when he looked up, he was looking at his soiled shoes before.
"It's okay, we both bumped into one another." I let out a weird smile.
"Right, I gotta go. Sorry once again." He rushed out the words and was out of my sight before I could say 'jack.'
To think of it, he has been acting really strange these past few days; it's almost like he's never there whenever anyone is talking to him.
I noticed that they have to either nudge him or call his name repeatedly before he gives his full attention.
