Chapter 11. A Servant and a Friend

I heard sharp knocks on the door. I opened the door again and saw that the sun had come out fully. I heard the knocks again, I got up and walked to the door lazily.

“Who is that?!” I yelled.

“It’s me my lady, please open the door.” The servant man. I yawned and cleaned my eyes. Then I opened the door.

As soon as I opened it the servant man pushed it open roughly. “Hey………..”

“You’re expected to be up much earlier than this my lady.” He said as he strolled into the room with a bunch of clothing on his hands. “Breakfast has been set. As the lady of the house you’re expected to partake in the meal preparations. However today will be waved off so you can relax since it’s your first morning at the master’s home. Afterwards you’ll coordinate activities in the house.” He said and dropped the clothes on the bed. He picked one up and waved it at me. “You’ll wear this today. You will get ready and join us downstairs for breakfast.”
