Chapter 12. A Pack or Not

I was bored of touring the internal parts of the house because there was really nothing to see. The furniture was old and weird looking and as if that was not enough the house didn’t look well kept. That was probably the fault of Manuel but I couldn’t blame him.

So far it seemed like the care of the house had been left to him and maybe the old looking lady and they couldn’t manage everything by themselves.

The house had an ancient look to it, there were large horns hung on the wall as some sort of décor and old ornaments as well. When I entered into the room that served as the dining area properly I saw that there was a fireplace there too as well.

My favorite part of the house at the moment was definitely my room.

I walked out of the house and down the short stairs that led to the compound. Just like when I had arrived last night, even now everywhere seemed deserted. The compound was relatively clean though and there were a few trees surrounding the compoun
