Chapter 124. Dinner

Peggy’s POV.

Throwback.

When I came out of the bathroom I noticed there was a dress in a bag on the bed. Had the master come inside the room while I was bathing? Had I taken too much time already?

I walked over and picked it up. There was a note beside it and it read ‘Come down for dinner.’ That means I was to change into the outfit and make my way downstairs for dinner.

And that could also mean that I was dinner.

I quickly changed into the outfit, not really bothering if I was looking good enough or not. And then I remembered that vampires liked when their women looked good at all times and I was setting myself up by not caring about my appearance.

So I went to the mirror that was hung on the wall just by the door leading to the bathroom and checked myself out. I picked up a comb I found on the table and did the best I could with my hair. Then I put it in a bun at the top of my head and adjusted my dress on my body. It was a nice blue gown
