Chapter 123. Awkward

“Why can’t you? And it’s Ryder again.”

“Oh don’t kid yourself by thinking I am asking you to stay there because I have some interest in you. That’s far from it. If we are to convince people that we are indeed lovers then we must at least be together at all times…….”

The way my name came out of her lips just made me want to melt. It belonged in her mouth for sure……my name.
