Peggy’s POV.

Flashback.

The blood moon was almost here. According to Ox, it was a difficult time for vampires. He said everyone in the entire region was made to hide away to reduce the amount of lives that were lost. It wasn’t something to look forward to.

There was nowhere for me to hide though. The servants in the house had been taken to a specific location to hide but for the main slaves of the masters…….we were locked up in the rooms with them. We were their meal for the day.

I hadn’t witnessed a blood moon before, even at the facility. This was because I had just arrived the facility few days before I was given to Ox. So I hadn’t even stayed long enough to experience a blood moon. But now I couldn’t escape it.
