Chapter 20. The Visitors

When we were inside I noticed it was dark and we kept walking as though we were going to a room. A curtain was pulled aside and we were ushered into something that looked like a makeup studio. The guard literally dumped me on a chair while Bria and Felix got comfortable. I adjusted myself and wiped the tears from my eyes. I looked around, trying to figure out what was happening and where we were.

“Helped her get cleaned up. We need to be downstairs soon.” Felix said to the guard that had helped me get up.

He went to the dressing table and grabbed some tissues and came to help me wipe the blood from my arm. Then I was given a gown to change into because the one I had on was stained with blood.

I was taken to a bathroom where I could change. I remained mute through the entire routine……too stunned to talk and in too much pain.
