Chapter 24. Release

Moments later I spotted Manuel in the dining area. There was definitely a party going on. I saw the steps that led up to the room I was used to. The other room I had come from was at the other side of the house, for some reason I had never noticed that it was there.

“Madame………..” Manuel gasped, acting like he was surprised that I was awake. “You must be resting………”

“Where is Felix?” I cut him. Everyone at the table stopped chattering and looked at me. Manuel dropped the jug he was holding in his hands and came to me. “He is around somewhere in the house madam, but please you must rest……..”

“I want to see him now. I want to see him and I want all my stuff moved back to the old room. Infact I want to go home. I want to leave this place.” I felt tears sting the back of my eyes. I was losing my mind, I needed to go back home. The parg of my arm that Felix had dug his claws into had healed up a bit but it still hurt a bit.

“You are going nowhere.” I heard a voice
