Chapter 203. A Ruined Magical Night

I couldn’t forgive myself for the look of horror on Peggy’s face after I killed Brown. She wasn’t meant to be there. What was wrong with me.

I had allowed her to witness me ending Brown and now the memory was probably going to be with her for a long time. When I tried to get her to stand up she was stiff, she didn’t move.

I had to carry her into the car and get her to settle in. While inside the car I called her name numerous times but there was no reply. It was like she was gone, she was present but she wasn’t here. She was finally sleeping and I was just glad to see it because I couldn’t bear to watch her look so lost.

I never intended to scare her that way.

Sabrina was there too. She had probably home and told my father and everyone at the party about what had happened. I thought about going back to the party but what was I going to do there. What was I going to achieve by going there?
