Chapter 205. My Love Peg

I waited till when she had fallen asleep since it seemed like that was the only time when I could get her to do what I wanted. After that I went and carried her to the bed so she could get some sleep. She curled away from me and went into deep sleep immediately.

I just wanted to protect her and yet all I was doing was scaring her away.

It was nighttime. Dad wasn’t pleased with what had happened so it was a matter of time before he came looking for me to explain myself again, or trying to look for ways to punish me and I knew he would start with trying to hurt Peggy. Now I couldn’t have that.
