Lovette’s POV.

Manuel hadn’t woken up yet but he was responding very well to treatment. I had packed my bags up and I was ready to leave this small town that had housed us for a couple of days. Funny enough Felix hadn’t come here himself to enquirer about me and Manuel but I had been told that some men had come here to make enquiries about their pack members who went ‘missing’ from their pack, a boy and a girl and they would love if information about them was passed through as soon as they were sighted. That was odd, maybe he was worried the people here wouldn't pay him any attention because he was a rogue. That was why he sent his men as representatives.

Thankfully the people that sheltered us weren’t fools. They knew that they had come to search for us and disguised as good pack people who meant well and were just looking out for their pack members.
