Chapter 77. Finding Lovette

Felix’s POV.

The car pulled to a halt and we came down. My men immediately checked the area and started to look for traces of Lovette, any clue that would lead to her. I had decided during the trip here that I could actually be wrong and we needed to sure that she was here before we continued the journey. We had driven at the highest speed all day and yet no sight of her. We had taken short breaks here and there because of how long we had driven and also in the hopes of finding traces of her but still nothing. i was getting tired.

I looked around too, trying to find a clue or something at all. Maybe I shouldn’t have suppressed the urge to get the old lady to tell us more about Lovette’s whereabouts when I got a chance to but I was playing Mr Nice and it had come back to bite me in the ass.

Because now I didn’t have anything to work with or anything to direct me to her. At first it seemed like we were working with a trail but it stopped literally here.
