Chapter 91. Abandoned House in the Fields

As soon as we got down from the SUV I started on my way to the abandoned house in the fields. Anthony had tried to bring it up in the car and in Paris on several occasions but I didn’t give him a chance to because I didn’t care what he had to say, I didn’t want to listen to what he had to say.

I was deeply worried about her. I didn’t even know her name or anything about her even and for all I knew, just like the pack leaders had said, she could be on a mission. She could have been sent here by an rival.

She could be a threat but while we were yet to figure that out I was focused on nursing her back to health. All through the trip I hadn’t been able to get my mind off her. I remembered how she had clung to me so affectionately and how my body and my wolf had accepted her. It was possible that my wolf just did that because it was the time time in probably ever that I was showing concern for a woman and also because it was such a damn beautiful woman.

I didn’t want to le
