Chapter 66

Lance stared at Helena's letter, which was opened on the mahogany table, along with other letters containing a response from the Windsor Clan.

In Helena's letter, there were only a few words; it basically said that she did not love him and that she was with Lance.

The man quickly recognized the trick she had used; the princess was trying to invoke hatred in him, attempting to smother the fuel of the curse that was his love. Lance burned the letter.

Soon after, he opened the letter from the Windsor Clan.

In the letter, the leader of the Clan described how Lance was a despicable being who had swindled his own nephew, and how that was dishonorable, and would not go unpunished.

Lance already knew what to do to win the support of all the clans.

He stood up from his chair and called his servant, Luca Denai; he was a young wolf but very loyal.

“Alpha.” He bowed.

“Prepare everyone; I will hold an urgent hearing on politics. Send an invitation
