Chapter 72
James Turner stopped struggling and trying to break free from the silver chains.
Lance, that dishonorable scoundrel, had said something very important, something that couldn't possibly be true.
"I'm asking you a question, Turner. Do you want to see your Alpha?" Lance insisted.
James nodded.
Lance pulled the chains and partially freed him, of course. He secured one chain around his neck, which connected to another that bound his hands. After properly restraining him, Lance asked him to stand. James figured he might be able to fight back; even with his hands chained, his legs were now free, and after so long with the chains burning his skin and regenerating again, the pain had become quite familiar to him.
