I shook in fear, wondering what I would say once she discovered that I was pregnant with Berton's baby and that she was going to be a grandmother. I was worried, but at the same time, I was sure that she would never accept the child.

She had clearly stated that only Rose could bear a child for him. I was a poor helpless omega who could do nothing for her son.
