Chapter 18. Dream Abyss

I felt like I was falling—falling for hours.

Why hadn’t I hit the ground as yet?

Where was I? 

Darkness surrounded me.

It was everywhere! 

Dread and depression consumed me.

I couldn't see my hands, even though I was holding them up to my face. Everything was pitch black.

Why wasn't my were-vision working?

‘Gidian! Where are you?’

‘I'm here.’

‘But where is here?’ I asked. 

‘We're in the dream abyss.’

SHIT! I didn't know anyone who had been to the dream abyss and back.

This was a place where time and space do not exist. It's just one never-ending loop of darkness and emptiness.
