Chapter 23. Vampire Pendant

HAZEL'S POV

FUCK! is it morning already? I asked myself. I stretched my hands above my head as I yawned. I slept comfortably last night. Isis' potion helped to keep my premonitions of Harper at bay, but I couldn't help but miss seeing her face. I rolled over to my side and felt for Zander, but he was not there. His side of the bed was cold, so I knew he didn't come to bed last night. 

‘Zander, where are you?’ I asked him through the mind-link.

‘Good morning Kitten. I'm in the sitting room, I was just about to come to get you. Someone is here to see you.’

‘Who?’

‘Come and see for yourself, and I am sorry I didn't come to bed last night. I got lost in Alpha business.’

‘It's ok, I understand. I'll see you in a couple of minutes. I need to freshen up first.’

‘Ok, see you soon. I love you, Hazel.’

‘I love you too Zander.’

I wondered who had come to see me at 5:35 in the morning.
