Chapter 27. Trapped

 "Clarita, you really need to stop messing with mated wolves."

 In front of me sits my girlfriend and next to me is Alpha Glary. The Alpha and I have a deal that he will witness when I confront my girlfriend about her behavior. He wants to make sure she’s ready to change her ways, before agreeing to drop any punishment. He cannot ignore what he has seen with his own eyes. But he's willing to forget the whole affair if she shows any sign of regret. But Clarita doesn't want to hear any of that. 

 “What do you mean, Mercedes? Don't feel too good having met your mate at an early age!" she bites at me. “Wait until I meet mine! He's definitely an Alpha too and richer than yours," she adds viciously. “By the way, what are you doing with Alpha Glary here? Are you cheating on Zane?” And that's how she shows her true self. 

Even Alpha Glary is startled by her bitterness. Clarita's burning eyes move accusingly from him to me.
