Chapter 26. Alpha Humor

 As usual, Clarita runs up to meet me when Zane drops me off at school before leaving for his own pack. 

And of course, she has that slutty longing look in her eyes when she glances at my mate. If I weren't sure of Zane's love for me, I would have cracked this bitch's eyes out. After one last kiss, I get out of the car and walk toward her. 

 “Hey, Clarita, that was a great party. I'm sure you enjoyed it a lot," I remark sarcastically. She ignores my tone and takes me by the hand. “Yes, I am so proud of it myself. After your birthday party, mine was the bomb,” she exclaims happily. I nod, it looks like she really has the need to outdo my party. When we're near the school building entrance, I turn to her. 

 “Clarita, I urgently need to talk to you about a private matter. Do you have an hour off after Science class?” I ask her. She is startled by my tone first but doesn’t ask for an explanation.
