It was inevitable that these words flooded him. Definitely, that kiss meant something, and in his heart, he knew it.

But he was a bit stuck on the subject; he liked to be told things straight, and he hated to assume even when perhaps the answer was the most obvious one.

“In case you were wondering...,” Reth reached up to Love’s chin with a finger searching her eyes, “....That doesn’t change my feelings for you at all, beautiful, not even a little bit. To me, you are a perfect angel.” Reth smiled, adoration written all over his face as he looked at him. “You have nothing to hide; you are amazing like that angel; you have no reason to feel overshadowed by something that doesn’t even stop the glow that is in you; I don’t know who put so much shit in your head, but you have you ever stopped to think about how wonderful you are?”
