Chapter 17

“I love you, Reth,” Love said, and the instant those words left her mouth, she realized what she had said.

The shape shifter’s eyes widened, and he looked away.

Love was cursing herself for not putting a curb on her mouth; it was the first time she said something like that; she just couldn’t stop her heart from wanting to express what she felt at that moment; the shifter had won her heart. Love was in Love.

She knew it on that beautiful St. Love’s Day they had spent together; she knew it one night before, and she knew it now months later; she could no longer deny it to herself; she could not and would not hide it; she had already decided to listen to her heart, and because of that crazy and sensitive organ, she was now the happiest woman.

There was no point in hiding the obvious any longer.
