Chapter 28
The sound of someone knocking on the door stopped her pacing back and forth. Charlotte stared at the door to her room with her arms folded across her chest and casting an angry glance in his direction, yet the sounds of the front door continued. Her host must have been too preoccupied to open the door.
With a sigh, he left the room; he walked down the corridor, stomping on the wooden floor as he hurried to stop that orchestra of knocks on the door; the more he opened it he realized that he had not checked who could be; he had made a great oversight, luckily when the door opened it revealed a man dressed in a black uniform that vaguely reminded him of a stretcher bearer or something like that, he was carrying a cart where he had a mini refrigerated with him, on the door it read “B.S.B.” He frowned. Did he mean “Belcan Blood Bank”? It was just a guess, but he was certain he was right.
“Is Mr. Belcan in?” Asked the man
