Kane’s POV

“My lord....”

I turned to look at the three guards hurrying down the stairs to catch up with me before I got into my car and left the castle.

“Yes, what is it?” I asked as they got closer.

“My lord, it’s Madam Dana. She’s not in her room,” The first guard said.

I almost squeezed my face in disgust at how alarmed they were at the fact that Dana wasn’t in her room.

“That’s not a problem. Can’t you find something more reasonable to do at this time of the day?” I shot at him as I turned to get into my car again.

“My lord, she left late in the night yesterday. The men on patrol say she was drunk when she drove out of the castle. They tried to stop her, but she didn’t budge. And she also didn’t go with any escorts,” the second guard chipped in.

I looked at them again and took off my shades.

Dana, drunk, left without her guards and hasn’t returned. Now that rang an alarm.
