Preeda’s POV

I made my way to Zena’s room. After what had happened with Thor at the office, I hadn’t spoken to her. She was probably upset with me.

The guard announced my presence, and I entered. She was having tea when I walked in, and Yaya was sitting beside her. She didn’t look disturbed at all like I had expected her to be.

“My Luna,” I bowed slightly as soon as I got close enough.

“Oh, enough of that, Preeda. I’m glad to have you here. Come join us for tea.”

I took a seat close to Zena while a maid stepped forward and poured me a cup of tea. I lifted the cup to my lips and took some sips.

“Are you enjoying it?” Yaya asked. I smiled and nodded. Yaya felt superior like she had any rights around here. She was just an ordinary housekeeper and doctor. That was all. What made her feel like she could talk to me or be close to Zena in this manner? Or interfere in our conversations?
