Chapter 83

Alpha Thor’s POV

We kept walking, following the faint footprints on the ground. It was getting harder and harder to trace. Seemed like whoever the kidnapper was, he had come back to hide his footprints.

Smart, I must say. But then I had a strong sense of smell, and a particular scene kept lingering from the car all the way into the woods. I was sure it belonged to the kidnapper because the only other one lingering was that of Dana. While we made our way down into the woods, I tried to think of who could have kidnapped Dana. It could have been anyone in the castle, especially the guards.

I heard footsteps approaching. Everyone stopped moving and got into formation, ready to attack.

The sound of the footsteps came from a single direction. I sensed the person’s presence instantly.
