Boris had us move to his meeting hall. Within minutes the hall was full of all the pack leaders and elders in the pack. Boris took the head of the table, and I sat at the other end. I had more authority than every single one of them in the hall, but I had to accord him respect since it was his pack.

“Alpha Thor Wolfshield of the Blue Moon pack is in our midst.
