“Let him in,” I said to my guard as I strolled across to the hall to where my chair was. Word had reached me from Dana. Charlotte was in Moon Stone. The red moon night was drawing near, and I was thinking of ways to get her. I couldn’t stroll into Blue Moon pack, take her hand, and walk out simply. I was working on plans, ways of reaching her through anyone or anything.

And now she was in Moon Stone, right in my palms.
