Lilith’s POV

“... My name is Elara Mooncrest,” her voice rang out, all bold and clear like she’d been speaking her whole life. “Wife of Kieran Blackwood and Luna of the Blackwood Pack.”

I screamed.

“No! No, no, no!” I shrieked, grabbing the tray of food they’d given me earlier and hurling it across the cell. The plate smashed against the wall with a satisfying crack, but it didn’t even scratch the surface of the rage boiling in my chest.

I was supposed to be Luna. Me. Not her.

“No, not her,” I growled again, pacing like a caged animal. My fists clenched so tight my knuckles cracked. My jaw ached from how hard I was grinding my teeth.
