Layla's POV

"Uhmmm. Nothing actually,” I said.I swallowed the word that I was about to tell him. If he could say he didn’t want a child, that means he would never want a child in the near future. 

There are a lot of things I am finding out about him now that I did not know before, especially his mental issue with his alter ego, and now this.

“I was just thinking about you having kids. You know as the Alpha, you need to have someone that will take over from you as Alpha, you know as an heir,”.

He smiled. “That’s a good idea. But I don’t think I ever want a child,”.

My shoulders slumped. I couldn’t blame him, though. “But can I ask you a question?” I let out.

“Sure,” He said as he stretched his body on the couch. The couch was small for someone like him, since he was a huge and burly man. But he was enduring it for my sake.
