Chapter 51
Nate's POV
I was heading towards Layla’s room when I heard a loud noise as if there was a mob outside. I sighed as I wonder what they wanted and why they were making so much noise.
I turned around and headed out although it wasn’t my place to address them so I stayed at the entrance, in a corner where they couldn’t see me and I observed them.
I could make out the point of their protects from their murmurs as they all stood in front of the pack house, waiting for James.
This was exactly the plan. Even if James forcefully took the throne and declared himself king, the pack would eventually rebel because he had misplaced priority and no understanding of what a person on his position had to do. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't listen to the opinions of other people, and that would get him nowhere.
