Amelia regarded at Evelyn, who rolled her eyes. “This is Oska,” she said. “He's Alpha of the hares, and already mated. You're safe.”
Amelia heaved a sigh of relief. “Hello, Oska,” she said. “It's satisfactory to meet you.”
“You too, of course! Beautiful manners, beautiful! I wouldn't have predicted whatever less! Gabriel has usually spoken so particularly of you!”
Everything the man—male—said looked to give up in an exclamation mark. Amelia bit her lip to end herself smiling. “That's very variety of you to say.”
“Oh, I'm a kind person—but do not make me angry, the others will tell you!”
Everyone round the desk murmured with hurried affirmation as if they didn't desire to supply this man a purpose to argue. Which was his point, Amelia supposed. But no one Looked afraid of him. It was strange.
“So, have you all heard?” Oska stated as he nudged one of the other adult males out of their seat simply like Levi had done
