Amelia 's eyes went wide. She stared at Gabriel, who smiled around gritted teeth. Jhon had constantly been the charmer, and having the golden wolf so shut to his mate made Gabriel want to bite something. But he knew he could not put her in safer hands.
“I'll see you soon,” he whispered to Amelia as she nodded at Jhon. “And do not worry. I've got this beneath control.”
Jhon snorted, however did not say something when Gabriel shot him a glare.
Amelia put her hand out of the damp towel to hold his face. “I don't prefer to leave you,” she admitted after a second.
Gabriel knew he could not include her. Some of his scent would have been diluted through her being in the water, but there was already ample of him on her to increase eyebrows in the morning if anyone who cared to pay attention received close.
