Chapter 53

Amareux did not know if he should feel sad or just not care. But he couldn't not care. Dallas was here talking about being relieved of his duties as a butler and Amareux just had to be sad.

"What are you going to be, then?" Amareux asked, already getting mildly angry. He didn't like the idea of Dallas not being the butler anymore.

"You'll see." Dallas patted his head and ruffled it. Amareux pouted grumpily in return. "Make sure you take your bath and be downstairs before your Dad returns. You're having late breakfast this morning."

"Will you be the one to take me to the fashion designer this evening?" Amareux asked.

Dallas nodded. "Yeah, I'll be the one." Then he began to retreat till he got to the door. "I'll see you later in the evening. I need to go see the new butler, welcome him and give him a list of things to follow."

Amareux nodded and turned away from him. When he heard the door click shut, he flopped into his bed, face towards the ceiling.
