Chapter 72
What happened next was a mess. I knew I was sleeping, I felt Randall’s arms holding my waist below his big body, I heard the rain falling slowly, and I noticed my own snoring, but my eyes were open and I wasn’t in Randall’s room. In fact, I wasn’t in any room.
I had the feeling of floating, falling with open arms into the unknown and without any chance of escaping. I tried to guide my thoughts away, seeking Randall’s soul and wishing that he would take me back, to understand what was happening to me as I left my body and saw beyond the worlds. However, something stopped me.
