MIGUEL'S POV

“Behead him as a criminal” father ordered, and the guards dragged me away while I struggled with them.

“Miquel, are you alright” I heard the worried feminine voice, but I didn't know where the voice was coming from.

“Wake up, your highness” she shook me so hard this time around. I woke up sweating heavily. It was a dream. Everything felt so real.

“What's this nightmare that upsets you so much and hunts you even in your dreams?” Valeria demanded with so much concern. I inhaled and exhaled deeply.

“I guess I'm destined to always have a scary nightmare” I grumbled, going back to sleep. Valeria stared at me unbelievably. I had woken her up, and now I'm sleeping without her? I read her mind.

“I'm sorry to have woken you up, my queen, can you drift back to sleep now?” I said, and she nodded slowly, laying down.
