Chapter 33. Fists and Falls

It was very early in the morning when someone knocked on my door, claiming to have training clothes for me, and they were sent by the Alpha. I was surprised to open the door and see someone with a bag of clothes.

“From the Alpha. He asked me to drop this here with you,” the young girl had said before thrusting the bag into my hands and disappearing into the hallway before I could ask any questions.

I moved back into my room and emptied the bag on the bed to find different training outfits laid out.

“I don’t think I need this much,” I mumbled in surprise.

“I didn’t know what you’d like, so I just told them to grab one of everything they could find” Zion’s voice came through the mindlink

“Thank you?” I don’t know why it sounded more like a question than a statement, but I still found it skewed to talk to him, especially through the mindlink. It was so strangely intimate, and it made me feel weird.
