Chapter 47. Suspicious
I've been watching Zion now since that night when I followed him into the forest. Even on nights we don't sleep together, I wake up and stand by my window until I see him leaving. I've thought about it, but I can't come up with a good plan on how to go past the guards.
“Earth to Geneva,” Isaac snapped his fingers in front of me.
“Sorry,” I mumbled before dropping to the floor and crossing my legs.
“You are distracted today. What are you thinking about?” Isaac asks, taking a seat beside me on the floor
We were supposed to be training, but I've been distracted all morning, and now he was frustrated with my lack of concentration.
“Nothing. Let's try that again,” I moved to stand up, but he grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
“No. At least not until you tell me what's on your mind. It didn't look like anything. I've dropped you seven times in less than thirty minutes,” he argued.
