POV: Lulu Winters  

Hearing Kit apologize brought a smile to my face. I looked at him with a smile on my face and I could see he was very happy.

I wanted to talk badly to him but I couldn't let Nimah know cause I was sure she was hell-bent on snatching Kit from me.

But wait, why was I thinking about this? Did I like Kit? I was sure I didn't like him but a part of me liked him and another part disliked him.

I didn't know how to feel towards myself right now. My emotions were a mess. I didn't know why all my anger and disappointment in him washed up immediately after I heard him apologize.

Hearing his voice made my heart flutter. His voice sounded otherworldly in my ears and I wanted to hear them always.

The way he said the apology, the guilt in his voice, and the unhappiness I could feel them all.
