Rey strutted in front of the old man who seemed to be in his early 80s, and fractures were visible in his eyes. Beside him stood his team, Dan, Coven, and Connor.

The old man squatted closer to him, placed a hand on his shoulder and patted it softly.

"It wasn't their fault," the old man said with a melancholy tone. "You can still see them, but not in this timeline."

"How can I get back to the past?" Rey pleaded instead. "I had to meet them, and ask them the reason why they had to relinquish me." He said this with bitterness in his voice.

"As I explained, it wasn't their fault." The man said it again. "They were butchered by the gods, and they believe you will make everything right and avenge them." The man explained.
