We all watch in horror as the man hands me the card and I cringe when I read it.

The more I read, the more I cringe. What the hell? Did he actually write this? So cliche and so bad, it doesn’t even bring a smile to my face.

“I think you need to take these back, Mr.” I tell him, “return them to the person who sent you”

“I don’t think…”

“Take them away” Malachi growls, “and I mean now” his eyes darken and I know he is trying to hold himself from getting upset. I can’t even blame him, I mean how can my ex-husband send me a truck load of flowers to my new husband’s house? Is he insane?

“You should take these away before I put my hands on you” Kayden tells him and the man fidgets a little.

“
