Bryer’s POV
From afar, I see him taking a sip of his coffee. I know he wouldn’t want to see me now but if I want to get everything back, I need to get his trust back.
I just need the right amount of words and pretense.
Throwing the half cigarette on the floor, I squash it with my leg before making my way into the café. I have to do this now, I need to make a fucking move. I can’t just sit idle waiting for something to happen.
“Mason!” I call out his name gently and he immediately springs up from the chair, anger written on his face.
“What are you doing here, Bryer?”
I glance at the lady beside him, the one from the salon. I didn’t know two of them were acquaintances, I could have gotten some information for free from her.
