Odette’s POV

Right from Costa Rica down till when the plane touched down in New York, I didn’t say a word and I didn’t call any of my family members. I can’t lie, I was scared. I was scared of what they would say, I was scared that something had happened to my father and I didn’t want to hear it. I was so anxious that I wished we could reach sooner.
