Malachi’s POV

With my arm wrapped around her naked body, I bury my face in the crook of her neck and fill my lungs with her scent. The time is past 10PM but none of us have taken any time to sleep. I like the fact that we can stay in each other’s arms and just be ourselves.

“What are you thinking about, my love?” She asks me, “you have been in thought for a while now”

“I’m just thinking about how a lot has happened in the past few months, wifey” I tell her, snuggling closer to her, “but most especially I love the fact that we are together no matter what”

“Should we go for a drive?” Odette suggests, pulling her body to a sitting position, “the weather is really nice”

“You really want to go for a drive?” I ask and she nods vigorously.

“We could get some ice cream on the way and even some chocolates too”
