Book 1: Chapter 26

Enzo’s POV

With my back pressing against the chair, I let out a heavy sigh. I have not slept a wink since yesterday night.

After feeding Michelle dinner, I helped her to bed and came back to my study. I have a lot of work to finish off and it is taking a lot of time.

I have two surgeries scheduled for the next seven hours and some pack issues I need to take care of.

Just a day away from Los Angeles and my table is packed full with work.

My musing is interrupted when my mobile begins to beep. At first I want to ignore the call but on second thought, I pick up the phone and my eyes darken at the sight of the caller. The nerves!!

I click on the receive button before pressing the phone against my ear.

“Why have you called?”
