Book 1: Chapter 32

Enzo’s POV

Michelle’s scream alerts me and I immediately sit up, before I can even ask her anything, my eyes catch the blood stain on the bed and for real, my heart skips a beat. I didn’t notice the blood when I came to lie down beside her so how did this happen?

My mind is in turmoil right now, I am not sure if she is having a miscarriage or it is because of the tumor.

“Snap out of it” my wolf growls inside of me and I snap back to reality. Tears are streaming down her eyes and she looks scared, very scared.

“Hey” I hold onto her cheek, “I will take you to the hospital, okay?”

“My babies” her muffled voice reaches my ears, “I cannot lose my babies, Enzo. I…” Michelle’s voice trails off.

“You will not lose your babies” I try to assure her, even if somewhere in my mind I am scared. For Michelle to refuse terminating the pregnancy, she must really want to keep the pregnancy. How will she feel if she actually loses it even if technically I wan
