Book 1: Chapter 27

Michelle’s POV

With one last look at the mirror, I nod at myself before making my way out of the room.

Today is my appointment with the doctor Enzo recommended and I am feeling optimistic about it. I have a feeling that I would hear some good news in a few hours and I am excited.

Luckily after that day at the hospital, the pain subsided but I still felt it on a few occasions.

Earlier, Enzo sent me a message saying he would be late since he has a surgery at the hospital and he told me one of his men will bring me to the hospital.

He made breakfast before leaving and I can’t help but feel indebted to him, he has treated me so nicely that I cannot thank him enough.

Looking at myself again, I nod again. I am dressed in a pair of denim flay pants and a white long sleeve shirt to go with it and I pull my hair into a messy bun.

I am in no mood to dress to kill and this is the perfect dress for me at this moment.
