Michelle’s POV

Sitting in front of the doctor, my heart continues to beat fast against my rib cage. How I wish Enzo was here with me but he has a meeting that he cannot miss but he promised to be here soon.

With him beside me, I will surely feel better because right now; my whole being is in turmoil.

The old man clears his throat before raising his head to meet my gaze.

“Miss Michelle” he presses forward against the chair and drops the document on the table, “I have gone through your file”

“What did you find?” Lawrence asks him.

“It is just as you have said, we cannot delay the surgery anymore, you have less than a week to live. The tumor has covered every part of your womb”
