Diana’s POV

“All this time… you were alive. You were alive. I-I thought I lost you forever… I missed you so much…”

I started walking away from her, slightly leaning against the wall as I felt weaker.

“I’m so sorry for what I did. I’m so sorry for hurting you… This time I’ll protect you. I promise to—”

“SHUT UP!” I turned to her after I screamed, revealing my tear-stained face and gritted teeth.

“You and Charles made my life a living hell! Don’t you dare say you miss me! Don’t you dare say you’re glad I’m alive! You were never my friend!”

“Diana…” she sobbed.

“You are nothing to me. Just someone I hope to forget… and destroy.”

I left immediately as soon as Arthur went out to comfort her. Fortunately, our ruckus didn’t disturb any guests. Mustering up a bit of strength, I ran to the elevator I came in. As soon as the metal doors closed, my knees gave out, and I found myself sprawled on the floor.
